Bill Jones, Chairman of the American Desert Foundation,  (center) accepting the RPM (Recreation, Partnership and Momentum) award from BLM Director Robert Abbey (left) and Margaret Goodro, Manager BLM El Centro Field Office. This accolade was presented at the 2010 American Sand Association 10th Anniversary Celebration in Costa Mesa, CA. The Bureau of Land Management wished to recognize the remarkable accomplishments the American Desert Foundation has made with it's ATV Safety Training that has improved safety and land stewardship in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area.

ADF Chairman Bill Jones (left) and Ella Harman (right). Ella is the Chief ATV Safety Instructor for the ADF ATV Safety Classes in the ISDRA. Ella, a certified instructor for the ATV Safety Institute, has worked with the ADF to develop and implement ATV Safety Training in the ISDRA.
